Tuesday Schaudenfreude
The University of Michigan claims that they are better than us, the poor slobs of the world. They claim there is a "Michigan Difference." They claim that their players are "Michigan Men," some sort of mythical being that is superior to the average football player. But he truth is that Michigan has a 1/2 more National Titles than Minnesota during my dad's lifetime. Their 106,201 fans that pack Michigan Stadium make a night at the Ordway seem rowdy. Jim Harbaugh, one of their own, blasted the alleged academic superiority of their student-athletes. Last year, while being ranked #5, they lost to Appalachian St., a 1-AA team that was visiting the Big House. It was starting to look like things couldn't get any worse.
Fortunately, they now have this man leading them.

Poor Rich Rod
H left a rogram he built for one he decided to tear apart (in order to install the spread). It could take Michigan longer to turn this around than it took Brewster simply because of Adam Weber. He was able to step in and be a sort of dual-threat option at QB. Michigan is in trouble at the QB position. McNeal’s decommitment doesn’t help either.

I'm Not a Big Fan of Rich Rodriguez
Never thought he was a good coach at all, Always thought Michigan made a mistake getting rid of Lloyd Carr.

Schaudenfreude ....
…. is basically the enjoyment taken from the misfortune of others. In the case of WhiteSpeedReceiver, the weekly column allows us to rejoice in the travails of our grid sporting enemies.

Correct
Shaudenfreude roughly translates from German to “Damage Joy.” I might be slightly dishonest in using this title every week, because as a long-suffering Gopher fan I feel no shame in taking delight in the misfortune of others.
