PrintWhile the Blog Poll is highly prestigious and Blog Poll ranking is sought after by all teams, it doesn't count as much as the AP or Coaches poll. Officially the Gophers are making their Tim Brewster debut in the Top 25's
Of course I had the foresight to rank them last week and they are moving up during their bye week due to other teams sucking.
This is getting harder every week. The top 0 isn't so bad but then it could be a new 15 every week. Here is it...

Texas beats Oklahoma then Missouri…they deserve to be No. 1 no doubt. Bama had a bye and then Ole Miss. Longhorns should be No. 1 because of strength of schedule.

I’ll think about it. I tend to stick with the ranking I had a week ago assuming nothing changes, but that is a compelling argument.

I wanted to get ahead of the final first draft of the poll. I didnt’ want to be the only guy with Cal ranked so high, thanks for that catch guys.
I dropped Cal and Wake adding BC and GTech.

I criticized your drop of Vandy last week (again rankings are based on games played, not on who you think will win subsequent games).
I’m going to be critical of your drop of BYU this week. Too harsh.
no gonna budge on this one
I was critical of BYU from the beginning and finally caved after they killed UCLA. Primarily I hesitate to rank them because their strength of schedule is 99. Minnesota’s schedule is weak but even ours is 23 spots higher. Maybe I’m a BCS conference snob but there is no reason to believe that three teams from the MWC are good enough to be in the top 25. For this week TCU, for obvious reasons, and Utah for not having lost yet make the cut.
