Blog Poll v10.1 - Week 9
I spent more time than usual on this week's ballot. I am fully prepared to make some adjustments based on your constructive criticism. Have at it...
This was the week of good teams losing to other good teams. OK State actually moved up for heading into Texas and nearly pulling off the upset. Ohio State and LSU dropped but not by much. I really think there is a clear line between #12 and #13 this year. LSU and Ohio State are not world beaters but I just can't justify dropping them below Pitt or the run or non-BCS teams.
You could make an argument for Mizz to be ahead of Ohio State as they are both two loss teams losing to very good opponents. I'm stubborn and am sticking with Ohio State this week.

Take another look at Pitt
After losing to Rutgers badly. They shouldn’t move up, they should move down.

you are correct
I forgot that they lost, they will move down.
what you say here can, and will, be used against you
BYU
I’d say you have to drop a two-loss Pitt team (losses to Bowling Green and Rutgers) and add BYU, who is 7-1 and ranked in the top 20 in the AP poll. I know they only beat UNLV 42-35, but Ohio St barely beat Ohio. Teams have letdowns.

SOS
BYU’s = 106, they are not one of the 25 best teams in the country imo.
Utah (85), Boise St (110), Ball State (116) and Tulsa (131) -have not lost. I can’t keep an undefeated team out. Perhaps I should drop TCU a bit and give Utah a little more credit in relation to the other non-BCS schools.

Cook's got us 13.
Just so you know.
There’s something very wrong with the universe. I’m frightened, yet excited.

Not bad
USF is a joke, so is Kansas. I wouldn’t have either of them in my Top 25 at this point. Pitt is another team that can’t possibly be in the Top 25.
As for the comment about TCU being dropped, I like them where they are, they’re a really good team.
GO GOPHERS! (Good ranking for us)
Surprised Ohio state didnt drop atleast out of the top 10
and How can you not have Texas Tech in at least the top 6?
Utah
maybe should be higher right now in my opinion, but we could get them eventually. I really can’t wait to see where this season leads. Not a terrible schedule the rest of the way…
