Print* Since 1950, The University of Minnesota has the same amount of National Championships in football as the skunk helmets from Ann Arbor: 1.
* The Victors is a terrible song. They are not the champions of the west, they are not conqu'ring heroes, and they are certainly not the leaders or the best.
* They stole Princeton's helmets and didn't cite their work.
* Also, it has been brought to my attention that Ann Arbor is a whore.

Eh..
I know this is contrary to public opinion but -
- I like The Victors. Of course the fact that it was one of the songs I learned in 5th grade band probably helps but it’s a catchy toon.
- I love the helmets! This was even before moving to Rosemount where my Irish squad wears them (Go Irish against Mounds View on Saturday)
- I like Michigan – always has been my 2nd favorite team in the Big Ten. I think it’s because they are so good at beating Wisconsin and Iowa over the years – the 2 teams I love to see lose. That and the fact that as a kid I really didn’t like Woody Hayes and found myself rooting for Michigan in that game every year.
how do we ban members?

I kind of agree. Maybe it’s not being from here… I always kind of liked the colours, didn’t really know about the Ohio State rivalry but whatever. Now that I’m in MN I like that they beat Iowa and Wis. lots – I’m sure everyone had a smile on their faces after the Wisconsin game?

Why
Maybe we should ask why you guys have a hatred for Michigan?
Wisconsin & Iowa are our natural rivals, have arrogant fans that infiltrate our games and our cities. Doesn’t it typically take 2 to have a real rivalry? If so, we don’t have one with Michigan as we are an afterthought to them in pretty much every sport except maybe hockey.
If there’s anything I hate Michigan for it might be Mike Legg but that’s about it.
The only reason I have to hate MIchigan
is their crappy fans at the BGSU game this year. After we destroyed BGSU, these fans o both schools began yelling crap about wait until Michigan. That said, one of my better qualities is the ability to find a reason to hate anyone.
Beware of the Dark Side
Hate you have much. Control it you must. Powerful is the dark side of the force. Careful you must be.
Hate
There is nothing wrong with wanting those BGSU fans to have their day ruined with a Gopher victory today. Most people just think it, but I chose to vocalize it. People who don’t vocalize it, just end up getting cancer.
I now need to go eat my french toast.
