Big Ten Weak

We all know that this is a down year in the Big Ten.    OSU has looked mortal and Michigan is adapting to the new system which equals growing pains.  Now Iowas loses to Pittsburgh who lost to Bowling Green if my memory serves me correctly.  Indiana was drubbed by Ball State and Northwestern looks bad again.  Should be three very winnable Big Ten games for the Gophers this year.  With no Penn State on our schedule this year, we can play the rest of the season without fear as we have a legit shot at every game.  (including OSU)  It's starting to be good to be a Gopher fan again.

This year's Illinois

Could the Gophs do what Illinois did last year?

Over at 11W....

…. in the comments section on the lead post at the moment the OSU fans are saying that this is shaping up as the year where all other B10 teams will see this as the year when they can beat OSU. I don’t think they take us seriously!

I Smell an Upset "Brewing?

That’s great, let them get overconfident. We have the secondary that can shut down their passing game, but it is going to be much more difficult to stop Wells and Pryor from running the ball. Can we continue taking the ball away? I am getting so stoked for this game.
