Josh Campion, Joey Searcy, and others
What happened to these two 2009 recruits - Josh Campion & Joey Searcy? They are not on the Gophers Roster. Did they change their minds at the last minute, or did they have eligibility issues?
Also, it seems that quite a few of the 2008 and 2007 Gopher Football recruits are not on the current Gopher Roster. What happened to these players?
Is Brewster rolling the dice on fringe players knowing that there is a high risk/reward?

Campion is grayshirting due to a knee injury, and Searcy will supposedly be here in January. As for the 2008 class: Hill is nowhere to be found, Brodrick Smith transferred to K State to be by his son, Combs transferred somewhere because he wouldn’t have played, McGee ended up at Memphis, and I’m not sure who else is missing.

Holy exedus!
No wonder Brewster’s teams “disappoint”. They really were never as good as we were told by the class rankings to begin with. Thanks for the info, totally changed my perspective on Brewster as a coach and a recruiter. Does this happen to other programs too?
Does what happen?
Do a few players leave the program? Of course.
Rephrasing it
In other words, do other teams lose large portions of their highly rated classes? If so, the recruiting rankings are a joke.
