It's that time of year...What are YOU thankful for?

Everyone reading this must write three things that they are thankful for.  If you read this, you must comply.

(these can be Gopher related or not, whatever trips your trigger)

I'll start

1 – Tubby Smith – how can you not be thankful that the Gophers have one of the best coaches in all of college basketball.

2 – My Family – this isn’t always obvious or the case for everyone. But I love my marriage and my kids. Please don’t tell my wife I put Tubby first.

3 – A good job AND a creative outlet like TDG. Don’t tell my job about TDG, but I greatly appreciate both.

what you say here can, and will, be used against you

1 — Vikings and Gopher Basketball (because all the other MN Sports teams are terrible)

2 — All of my friends

3 — Not being from Wisconsin

Percy Harvin is my dealer.

For me

1 – My awesome Wife
2- Still having my house after being unemployed for a year.
3- Retaining the eternal hope of going to a Rose Bowl someday.

I'm thankful for

1. Family and friends. It’s been a rough year or so, but the fiancee and I have somehow survived.
2. Health. I’m a little fluffier, but that’s my only new flaw. Everyone around me is good or improving.
3. Gopher Athletics, and sports in general. Sports provide a release from life, regardless of the outcome.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

Everyone fails. The successful learn from their failures. I just wish we'd quit giving ourselves so many learning opportunities.

I'm thankful for

1. The Daily Gopher for its insight and maroon and gold blood.
2. The brain to strongly dislike Pat Reuse who’s moron ability ables him to pick on Gopherville.
3. At least we get a chance to play in a bowl game.
