Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

NCAA Weekend Open Thread

Rant and rave about your bracket, upsets and how the Big Ten is faring. Illinois did the Big Ten no favors by losing to a game Western Kentucky team last night. Will Ohio State take care of Siena?

North Dakota State is on as I type this and Ben Woodside and company are living up to the hype. The Bison fans have shown up in droves to the Metrodome. Speaking of the Metrodome, why don't we ever host at the Target Center? I hate seeing the teflon roof and empty upper deck in these games.

Pretty annoyed with Dan Monson

Just think if our Gophers team had Woodside at PG. He can create off the dribble and hit the triple.

Target Center is being used

Girls State BB Tourney.

Of course the years the NCAAs are at Target Center, the HS girls can play at Williams.

At least the big east is looking sketchy at best

Pitt sucked…villanova deserved to lose….marquette survived…and WVU lost

I think between the ACC, Big 10 and ACC it has been a wash so far…maybe with a slight edge to the big east just because they have overcome their struggles and won—except for WVU.

Yeah,

but we have no grudges about the Media’s love of the big 12. We only hate their infatuation of the big east and acc. The big 12 can win games….that is completely fine with me.

I picked Cleveland State in one of my brackets. They were great last night.

Not sure how I feel about Wisconsin winning. And the way they won makes me wonder if Tubby should have tried to ugly it up and slow it down against Texas. I suppose that was a Big win for the Big Ten considering Ohio State lost to Siena in OT.

yup

Gophers needed their game to be in the 60. Well for the other team too, not just them ;)

Funny tourney for the Big Ten

The Big Ten won 4, lost 3 in the opening round. Not a great showing but better than many predicted. Ohio State played like crap. I am shocked at their loss.

ACC went 0-3 last night

If they didn’t have duke and UNC their conference would look awful after the tourney.

I’m worried about Michigan State against USC….USC is older and wiser and has more offensive talent.

Huff huff...

…You are doing a nice job on your bracket. I’m not afraid, MS will be in the Sweet Sixteen. I love it that the all-powerful and all wonderful ACC lost three.

why couldn't Villanova play that hard whenever I had money on them this year?

I despise them even more now. I feel cheated.

At least the ACC will be down to only 2 teams in the tourney after the Tigers get done toying with the less talented Terps.

Syracuse is red hot right now. ASU is lucky to be down only 9 at halftime.

I need Harden to step up big time. I had them in the TDG bracket going to the Final Four! That was stupid. I shouldn’t have let my high opinion of Harden color my picks that much!

how many times

does harden have to catch the ball at the free-throw line and TAKE A DRIBBLE BACK TO THE THREE-POINT LINE EVERYTIME? C’mon!

what sense does that make? I can understand doing it every now and then if he is being “pinched,” but here is an idea James…Either attack the hoop with the dribble or create something for your comrades.

Western Kentucky Got The Shaft Last night

The Coach Called a Time out after the game tying bucket last night..Only the Refs Refused to Recognize that and let the game play on.
