What's with this e-card scam?

Are the rest of you getting the message just above the comments that you have a new e-card waiting for you and you need to click “continue” to see it only to find out it’s a scam? What the heck is Daily Gopher doing with this kind of thing on the web site. I understand the need for advertising, but I don’t like this at all!

I am not seeing anything regarding the e-card. I see an earthshare.org ad...

I would hope that SBN would have some standards and not allow misleading ads on here. I can’t stand the Vegas one that opens and then doesn’t close unless you click on it. Also, do companies like “The College Shack” really think I am going to click through and purchase merch from them when they spam the blog?
