Last day of June, Gopher fans.  July will be here tomorrow and football seemingly the day after that.

The Gophers finished 14th nationally in the finaly 2008-09 Director's Cup standings.  This was their highest finish since 2003 and the third best among Big Ten Schools.

  • #5 Michigan
  • #10 Ohio State
  • #14 Minnesota
  • #19 Penn State
  • #20 Illinois
  • #27 Michigan State
  • #38 Purdue
  • #41 Wisconsin
  • #44 Northwestern
  • #45 Iowa
  • #55 Indiana

The Gophers traditionally finish well in the Director's Cup as this is their 14th consecutive year in the top 20 with one top 10 finish in 2002 (seventh place).
