BULLETIN BOARD MATERIAL...

Syracuse assistant coach John Anselmo had Minnesota on his mind Tuesday at the end of a video interview with the SU Athletic Department's All-Access web feature.

"Yeah, I'm excited about Minnesota coming in here," Anselmo said. "I think they'll be in for a rude awakening. This is a different football team than last year, in my opinion."

Did he just say that?  Your mom is the one who's going to get awakened rudely.  They are so dead.  If the Gophers weren't really going to try to win before, NOW they will.

• Many of you have probably already seen this but congratulations to Tom Wistrcill who is moving from the Gopher Athletic Dept to the new AD at Akron.  I would bet you a donut we'll see the Zips on the schedule in the near future.

• Brewster is not happy with the Big Ten scheduling.
• ChicagoNow.com is predicting the Air Force game is one of six Big Ten trap games.  I haven't looked at the other B10 schedules closely enough to know where this ranks within the conference but it is clearly our trap game.  We really better be ready for that one.
• Finally, Tow-Arnett appears to have won the starting center job.  Other than that your OL from the Gameday Preview should be the same.  Stommes, Bunders, Tow-Arnett, Carufel, Henderson Wills.
