all three LBs in top40
No other team has all three of its LBs in the Top40 in the national Tackles statistics. No other team has three players in the Top40, never mind just LBs.

What this indicates to me...
…is that the Gophers’ defensive line did a number on Syracuse and Air Force’s offensive lines, leaving the linebackers free to flow to plays. It also indicates that we’re playing teams that have run a lot.
Brewster mentioned that in his press conference
that being lost in the LB hype is that the DL is playing really well, at least against the run.
