It is Homecoming and it is the start of the Big Ten season. I realize there is little to no excitement for Gopher football right now but welcome to the OPEN THREAD where you can rant, rave, praise and generally converse with other passionate Gopher fans.
I noted in yesterday's preview that Brewster has actually fared well against the Northwestern Wildcats. Two fourth quarter Weber interceptions in 2007 and a fourth quarter pick-six in 2008 were the reasons we lost in the first two meetings. Then MarQueis Gray carried us to a win in 2009 for what is the only win over a BCS program that finished with a winning record in the Brewster era. Can he even up his all-time record vs. Fitz?
