Devoe Joseph's Status

Maybe it's something. Maybe it's nothing. But Devoe Joseph's status is rasing questions around Gophers gossip holes. Some are suggesting a leg injury and potential redshirt. Others are suggesting Devoe might have some academic issues or is upset about playing time or not starting. Whatever the case, Joseph didn't play against Winona State and his status for the opener, and season????, is up in the air.

Let's hope this is all baseless speculation and the 2010-11 season doesn't start off with the same type of off-the-court uncertainity that dominated last year's team. And let this be a message to the basketball team's media relations folks. We're in an immediacy driven news world where Twitter rules and reporters speculate as often as they report news.
