I realize that this is a Gopher blog, and I realize that this story is about Ohio State, but this is disgusting. The fact that Buckeye players, including Terrelle Pryor, would sell, or trade, some of the most cherished possessions that a Big Ten, and in particular a Ohio State, player can receive, is incredibly disappointing. I'm shocked that these players will be allowed to play in the Sugar Bowl. And what about this quote from Athletic Director Gene Smith: "We were not as explicit with our student-athlete education as we should have been in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 academic years regarding the sale of apparel, awards and gifts issued by the athletics department." Really Gene?!?!?! REALLY?!?! So we're supposed to believe that these guys didn't know that they shouldn't be selling this stuff?
