I’m still waiting for the list of other people that night that have been charged with the same trespassing charges… Funny, I haven’t seen it. Prosecutor needs to be reprimanded or fired over this one.

If you’re a prized basketball recruit at a major University and you make multiple YouTube, you’re just asking for more publicity. While his situation brings a lot of pressure (both from people on campus and the media in general), he brought most of it upon himself and I struggle to feel sorry for him. If he hadn’t tried shoplifting from Macy’s and ending up punching the security guard, none of this attention would be on him. He needs to learn that his actions have repercussions and while it’s easy to blame others for the pressure on him, most of them are his own fault.

That being said, the trespassing charges are bullshit. It’s ridiculous that someone could actually get charged for going room to room in the dorms, but as you said, that’s a result of the prosecutor being out to get him.

It’s unlikely, but maybe the recent campus shooting spooked White out with all the attention he’s had lately. I seriously doubt this is the issue, but you never know..
