Golden Gophers try to rebound in Illinois - OPEN THREAD
Minnesota Golden Gophers at Illinois Fighting Illini, Feb 27, 2010 3:00 PM CST
Heartbreaking loss on Wednesday, but can the Gophers rebound and get a win in Illinois? We never win there and it will take a miracle for us to make the NCAA Tournament. But we have played well lately and this is a great time to continue to get better. Can Sampson dominate again? Can we win a game on the road? Can we win a game if this is close at the end?

The illini just played a horrible first half. Let’s see if we can capitalize.

We need to attack and score off the press but I think tubby also wants them to eat clock

I'm stunned
Kill, maim, pillage, burn! Kill, maim, pillage, burn! Eat babies! Badger babies!
Sheeesh
The last time we won at C-U before today, I was a freshman in HS. Great to see it happen again, but hopefully the next one goes easier at the end.
Everyone fails. The successful learn from their failures. I just wish we'd quit giving ourselves so many learning opportunities.

I blame that close on on Tubby.
He went into milking the clock way to early. At the 7 minutes mark you do not go into a shell no matter how far ahead you are. You keep doing what you did to keep scoring. We were darn lucky to win that one. Sampson missing those two free throws at the end almost gave me a heart attack.
+1
I have other tubby complaints ill expound upon in the recap
