His father, Sean Henderson, said in a text message a few moments that Seantrel has not narrowed his college list from the six-school list he gave me last week.

c'mon, this just isn't true. You don't have to tell anyone your decision but just a few hours from the announcement, why are they telling the media that he really doesn't even know yet. And the list is still 6 schools! I'm calling BS on this one, but I don't understand what he thinks he has to gain by saying this? The intrigue is there no matter what.

we’ll see what he chooses, but I am guessing OSU.

Who knows, maybe the respective schools are in a bidding war? :-)

Oh, wait, nothing like that could ever happen!

haha

you mean these guys don’t always play within the rules? Who would have guessed that!

that's just it...he DOES know

it is NOT possible that he hasn’t made up his mind yet. If that’s the case why doesn’t he just flip a coin? But why pretend like he doesn’t know?

what you say here can, and will, be used against you

Tough decision

In case of tie, Seantrel goes to the Gophers(?). Ha! Me and my pointless optimism.

Crud

I’m going to read into it and say he’s still playing that card to soften the blow to us.
So close. ; )

Sorry…

OK, this is getting old...

So who are the state of Minnesota’s 3 top recruits for next year? Is it to early to ask which way they are leaning? Henderson is soon to be history, I’m sick of losing CDH top players.

Only chance Brewster has left

If SH does what is expected and commits elsewhere, that will be the beginning of the end for Brewster. Maturi will not be impressed with this class. Brewster needs to recruit his way to greatness because we all know that he cannot coach his way there.

Where are his ties?

Great point, KBrun. Why does CDH always get their top talents out of state? Do assistants or Mike Scanlon himself have ties to the big-name programs (i.e. Notre Dame)?

only a few mins away

anyone watching live or have a link on the interweb of the live feed?

by GreasyLlama on Feb 3, 2010 4:31 PM CST reply actions

nevermind

he just picked USC from what I hear.

Seantrel to USC

Unreal. I am slightly shocked that he would choose the Trojans, but whatever.

Barrerio

is just reveling in his choice as smarmy dickweed he is.

"they're calling insane hogs???"

by CrowTrobot on Feb 3, 2010 4:34 PM CST reply actions

i thought it was going to happen

I actually thought he might choose the U. Dang. This is a little disheartening. I hope he does well, but he could have done something special here.
