MIchigan just tied up Ohio State
64-64 with a minute left!

That would be nice
Kill, maim, pillage, burn! Kill, maim, pillage, burn! Eat babies! Badger babies!
not SF/SG
we have a bunch of undersized PF’s who can’t play SF. We actually need a guy like Turner

You really think Turner can play the 2 at the next level?

some think he'll play PG
but at the very least he is a very good SF

I could see him playing a point-forward type, but think he lacks the quickness to keep with most 1s and 2s defensively at the NBA level.

Which is why I think he wil be a 3 at the NBA level.
He has the size and length to suceed at that postion.

idk, but they look incredibly lifeless. Never seen Bucky play this way.
They always play hard and fundamentally sound, that’s why I begrudgingly respect Bo Ryan. But this is embarrassing.
What’s more sad is I think the Gophers are more talented than both Illinois and Wisconsin.

I picked the Badgers to win this B10 Tourney

no
we still need to win today and tomorrow. If we lose to OSU in the championship I still think we’ll be OK.

Well I'll just take beating Michigan State for the first time in the Tubby era!
Baby steps for the program!

I'm not sure why Ill is considered more of a lock than we are
Our RPI is higher, we beat them head-to-head, we have more wins, we have a tougher SOS. They just finished one game higher in the B10 standings. I don’t get it.

more bad losses for us?
I know they lost to Utah State and Bradley was it? We lost to Portland, Miami, by 78 at Michigan, and at home against Michigan.
But you’re right. Hasn’t the committee taken a team with a worse conference record over a team higher up in the B10 standings before?

Penn State last year
they had a terrible SOS and no big wins. I think Minn and Mich were behind them in the standings.
Big wins and Bad losses are about equal between Ill and us. I really don’t get it. I e-mailed a national blogger and asked him his rationale and he said Illinois passed the “eye test” while Minn didn’t. Translation they have recognizable players and we don’t. But that really doesn’t matter.
We have to win today and our RPI will continue to go up.
