I will pay for it today at work
but glad I stayed up and watched that great Xavier v. KSU game last night.
What a great game.
Because some of us may be going through withdrawal today, here’s something to help you get by until tomorrow night.

Everyone fails. The successful learn from their failures. I just wish we'd quit giving ourselves so many learning opportunities.

I am losing my patience
with these annual Tubby rumors. ESPN today has headline “Tubbby to Ducks has legs.” I like Tubby and believe he is a great fit at the U. But unless he comes out and puts an end to these constant rumors, I hope he goes. It is not good for the program to have a HC who will entertain any and all offers. I could rattle off 5 great prospective coaches for the job if he doesn’t want it. Come on Tubby, Shittte or get off the pot.
So he can be like Nick Saban?
If someone makes him an offer he can’t refuse, he’s gone. I don’t know what that offer would be for Tubby – more money, less pressure, more talent available, practice facility, etc… I’d rather he just not comment on every possible opening than respond and then leave.
He has said numerous times he is happy here and wants to remain here. I don’t want him responding to every rumor – at least to us via the media. Sure, he should let recruits know his thoughts and be upfront with them. But a good coach will always be involved in rumors unless he is someone at his self-proclaimed “dream job”.
I like my job. But I would be foolish not to listen to other potential offers – I need to know what is out there to know how fairly I am being treated and if there may be greener pastures I am not aware of. I can say with 95% certainty that I would not leave my current employer. But there is always a chance.
Michigan St. is mauling N. Iowa
I have seen them twice pull down N. Iowa players to the floor by the shoulder. In front of refs. And never called. Izzo has taught, coached and gotten away with “clutch and grab” basketball for years. I hate his style. This is the only Big Ten team I always cheer against during March Madness.
I feel better now that I got that rant off my chest.
funny because Tennessee did the same thing to OSU
last night. I lost count of the Williams (33) pushes in the back and over the back rebounds that mountain did. No calls. OSU should have won that game…and probably N. Iowa as well.
