Senior night at the Barn - OPEN THREAD

Iowa Hawkeyes at Minnesota Golden Gophers, Mar 7, 2010 5:00 PM CST

We all know that an NCAA Tournament is essentially out of the picture. This was a disappointing season in more ways than one.  But that doesn't mean there is nothing to play for today.  A chance for Tubby' boys to finish .500 in the Big Ten and a chance to sweep our traditional rivals for the season are still on the line.

9-9?

Not bad for a depleted team in the big 10.

really not that bad

reverse one of those non-conf losses (Portland?) and we are right in the thick of things. Even with the terrible B10 losses we have.

3rd in WCC

they were expected to push Gonzaga but finished 3rd. I think they were hoping for more this year, especially after how well they played in the 76 Classic.

I have no idea.

But they are by far the most unathletic team the Big 10 has seen in years.

Lickliter must have worked up some serious smoke and mirrors to get a few Ws

That's all you really need to say about this game.

Everyone fails. The successful learn from their failures. I just wish we'd quit giving ourselves so many learning opportunities.
