PrintMy draft ballot is getting out late, sorry. But since very few teams lost in the top 25 this weekend my ballot really didn't change much.
The Official Blog Poll has already been released and the Gophers received one vote! Yay to Purple Wimple (click on their link to show them some love) for seeing the real value in the Gophers road win over MTSU.
Back to my ballot, I dropped Virginia Tech 1 spot since Oregon scored 72 points! I dropped Oregon St a few spots to stay just head of Missouri. And I moved Utah into #25 dropping Houston for no good reason except Utah earned a top 25 vote by beating Pitt.

Oregon?
I know they lit up a 1-AA team- but I mean- they LIT UP a 1-AA team 72-0! I think they’ll be fine without Masoli, and they’ll destroy Tennessee Saturday. Move them up!

Probably shouldn’t have provided that link. Not exactly unbiased. Seems to exist only to snub their nose at the NCAA. But hey…you did get a vote so there you go!

I'm actually okay with his methodology
There really is no good way to judge a team this early in the season—so he ranked the teams according to who they beat. Precisely why there shouldn’t be polls until week 7 or so. What does Arkansas beating Tennessee Tech prove? We’ll see how consistent he is since Alabama plays Penn State this coming week.
