Donnell Kirkwood Granted Medical Hardship Waiver

Question
does anyone know the specific type of “leg injury” DK suffered?? This is good news for him and the program—-I liked the looks of him. I want to say hamstring but not sure.
Not happening
Sorry I just can’t see disillusion with Bielema being a permissible hardship, and I don’t buy the dying grandma angle, nor do I think the NCAA will either. Hope I am wrong.
Two minor miracles I want this fall: Solid Gopher defense led by a wholel and hale Kim Royston, and a solid Twins bullpen anchored by a completely recovered Joe Nathan. Both are long odds.
Probably a better chance for the bullpen than a Royston-led defense
but I hope I’m wrong too. If Nathan and Neshek comes back anywhere close to pre-injury form, I like the Twins bullpen quite a bit. Some big IF’s there, I know.
