The University of Minnesota is NOT Shutting Down the Football Program

Maybe they reconsidered the idea or maybe everyone realized that Jeffrick's post below was sarcasm, but the Gopher football program will continue on. They didn't shut down the program after losing 55-0 to Iowa at home in 2008, they didn't quit football after losing 84-13 to Nebraska in 1983. They will be practicing, they will be participating in the remaining Big Ten games. Yesterday was brutal but they will go on with the rebuilding effort.

We will still be blogging about the Gophers and we will still supporting them, regardless of the results of their remaining seven games. You should support them too (that part was not sarcasm).
