Christmas is inching closer which means that the college sports scene is winding down, unless your team is preparing for a bowl game. We are not but things are still going on for now, just no major news surrounding the programs we follow.

• According to Tyler Mason the Gopher Basketball team is the first in D1 to reach 10 wins. (more teams may have been added on Sunday). But nobody assumed we'd be undefeated without Mbakwe, regardless of the level of competitions.
  
• The men dominated St. Peter's on Saturday afternoon, as they should have.
• Gopher Hockey dropped yet another Friday night game but came back on Saturday to win big over Michigan Tech.
• Gopher Women's hoops won their own Best Buy Classic over the weekend.
• Here are some video highlights of the #3 Gopher Wrestling team's win over Iowa State.
• Finally, Off Tackle Empire has a fictitious recruiting battle for a fictitious key midwest recruit. Kind of funny.
