Gopher Football Spring Practice

Basketball and Hockey abruptly ended their seasons this weekend.  But take heart Gopher fans, football is here to save you.  Spring practice is just 10 days away and the new Kill administration is opening practices up to not just the media but the public as well!

That's right folks you will be allowed to go to spring practice yourself and watch the Golden Gophers prepare for next fall.  What a refreshing change from the previous staff that allowed the media to watch 30 min of practice before shooing everyone out.  Assuming nobody shares the super-secret formations, plays and personnel groups one would assume this practice of allowing us to watch practice should continue.

Spring Practice Dates

  • March 24, 2:15 p.m. – Gibson-Nagurski Complex

Tickles my loins....

Let’s do this. Spring football. Fingers crossed for no torn ACLs….and a general understanding by Gray of our offensive sets.

Just think…last year at this time every major (and minor) football magazine had us placing 11th in the Big 10. Can’t be worse…

not true at ALL

some only had us 10th in the Big Ten.

Let’s also hope for no broken legs to senior starters.

what you say here can, and will, be used against you The Daily Gopher

Just remember...

There are 12 teams this season… So it could potentially be worse. I don’t see us finishing last but just wanted to remind everyone that Nebraska is joining our annual schedule.
