Good for Lair to finally get some sort of preseason recognition. Last year's Mackey winner was D.J. Williams of Arkansas who 54 passes for 627 yards and 4 touchdowns. Obviously the award is more than just receiving stats but you can't really put down numbers on paper for run blocking.
