• Nathan Wells over at SB Nation Minnesota also discusses the Saturday night win.
  
• Buckey's 5th Quarter believes that the Badgers gained some confidence by earning the split with your WCHA Champion Minnesota Golden Gophers.
• Gopher Wrestling finished 2nd at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships. Kevin Steinhaus and Tony Nelson each won Big Ten titles. Final standings and bracket results can be found here.
  
• The BPI, aka the Bilas Index, has the Gophers at #63! WHAT? Hard to believe but it is true.
• Gopher basketball finally got a win taking care of Nebraska on senior day. Good enough to earn the 10th seed in the Big Ten Tournament and another game with Northwestern.
  
• Ralph Sampson said he often thought about leaving the program, either to transfer or for hopes of the NBA, but is glad he stayed and finished his career as a Golden Gopher. Say what you will about Ralph but he is one of the few who were loyal.
• Rodney Williams appears to be staying for his senior year.
• Finally, Gopher Baseball won the Dairy Queen Classic. The fell to Nebraska in the final game but in the three-way-tie-tie-breaker, the Gophers won. Yay for us.
