About a year ago I went with my WAY too early predictions for the 2011-12 Big Ten season. Just for fun here is my linking back to what I wrote (predictions are at the very bottom). A couple of notes... 1 - I was WAY off with my prediction of Illinois to win the Big Ten (oops). I was counting on one of their incoming freshmen to be a more significant contributor and I assumed Jereme Richmond would play. But oh well. Even so, if this team had some toughness to it they very easily could have been in the top 4 or 5. 2 - I was kind of off about Minnesota, but had Mbakwe been healthy I think a 9 or 10 win season would have put us right around 6th. The rest of my predictions were really quite accurate.
