Really? Are we still believing that Tubby Smith is going somewhere? I have lost count of the schools that have been rumored to be pursuing him. Oregon, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Alabama, LSU, the list goes on and on. The prevailing logic is that Tubby Smith doesn't really want to be in Minnesota and every other available job is a better job for him. But this one is particularly insulting because the former coach actually left LSU for TCU! Even with TCU's move to the Big 12 many would view that as a step down. So Trent Johnson takes whatever BCS job he can land to get out of LSU and then people expect that Tubby Smith is going to leave a full returning roster (with Trevor Mbakwe) to go to LSU? I don't think so.
