There's a new website up entitled "The Brickhouse" http://brickhouse.lib.umn.edu/ which tells the story of the old Memorial Stadium on the U of Minnesota campus. It's jam packed full of information about the construction of the stadium, historical homecoming stuff, pictures and videos including the complete 1949 game with Iowa. It's a must see for you old timers but it will also be interesting to you who don't remember the old stadium. It's a fascinating look at the history at the history of Gopher football. Take a look.
