How he fits

McGhee is a tall defensive back with an aggressive, hitters mentality that simply makes plays all over the field. His position versatility is also key, since he has the capability of playing both corner and safety in the Gophers' quarters scheme.

Chance to play in 2013

Depends on whether he fits better at corner or safety. If he's a safety, where most recruiting services are projecting him, than a redshirt year could be in order since Minnesota has relatively good young depth at that spot. If he's a corner, than much like Myrick, he'll be given the chance to earn PT very early and could be a factor on special teams.
