- The latest reason why I think Minnesota fans should be prepared for the a festive Big Ten opener. Chris "Beanie" Wells might not even be ready when OSU hosts the Gophers.
- Sticking with the Buckeyes, The Only Game That Matters compiled some interesting quotes post USC-OSU. The fun ones come from USC. They call the Buckeyes easy and slow!
- A 3-0 start begets media coverage. .... at least from ESPN. The 4-letters Adam Rittenberg looks at Marcus Sherels' transition from wide received to cornerback. Brewster is quoted saying Sherels has "tremendous quickness."
- Down with Goldy took a look a few days ago at Tubby Smth's upcoming schedule and made some early predcitions, including losses to Colorado State and Cornell. Bah. Final outcome: 18-12, 9-9.
- Lindsey Whalen is still sweet. She won something called the WNBA Peak Performer Award. Anyone else get really into women's hoops during that Final Four run a few years back?
