Senior Day at Williams Arena means quite a bit this year. A win and the Gophers likely lock down an NCAA Touanment berth. A loss and our maroon and gold will be sweatin on the bubble come Selection Sunday.
Gametime is 11 central time today. The game is televised on ESPN. We are attempting to do a joint liveblog with Maize n' Brew. It's a Cover it Live style and will hopefully be running here and at MnB. If it works, should be fun.
As for the game itself, I think homecourt means a lot. The Gophers have excelled at home and Michigan has struggled on the road. If Minnesota plays with the defensive intensity it has most of the season, the Gophers should be all right today. It'll be intersting to see if Tubby Smith decides to bench Lawrence Westbrook and Al Nolen to start the game. I'm thinking he will. Stick with what worked, Tubby!
