SBN is going regional! Recently kicked off you may have seen SBN-Chicago, New York, Arizona, Boston, DC and Detroit. Coming VERY SOON will be SBN-Minnesota. This should be a great one-stop shop for all of your Minnesota sports coverage from your favorite SBN blogs, with some original content as well.
Christopher Gates of The Daily Norseman will be heading up SBN-Minnesota and he'll be hosting the SBN Meet-up next Wednesday at Huberts. This is kind of exciting news and it is fun to see SBN continually trying to expand their coverage for sports fans.
- Tim Brewster has landed another 2011 recruit. Tight End, Sam Rohr from Brookfield, Wisconsin has verbally committed to the Gophers. Fringe Bowl Team's evaluation can be found here.
- Nebraska could be one of our brethren as soon as Friday. Like I said in my Nebraska expansion post, I'm all for it. You may not realize this but we have played Nebraska 51 times in the program's history (we lead the all-time series 29-20-2). That is more than we have played Ohio State N(49), Michigan State (42) and Penn State (11).
- Bob Sansevere talks with Gopher decathlete, R.J. McGinnis.
- The Gophers have the 5th toughest schedule in the country according to Phil Steele.
