Every game so far has had me a little bit nervous, this game does not. The Mount is a team that the Gophers should dominate. I had respect for Bucknell, South Dakota State and Fairfield. All three are teams that will compete for their conference championship, have some quality scorers, are capable of knocking off a team like Minnesota and all might earn their way into the NCAA Tournament. Mount St. Mary's is none of those things.
A year ago they were a mediocre team in the Northeast conference. Right now they are without their best player who is indefinitely suspended and are playing with a seven-man rotation including four guys playing 31 minutes or more. This is the game the Gophers should open up a big lead early and run away with.

I am really looking for Minnesota to take care of business here. Mbakwe should be Mbakwe. Ralph will probably have a good scoring game. And I think our guard will cause a ton of turnovers leading to easy baskets. This game is about coming together more and getting ready for the Old Spice Classic on Thursday.
