Want to erase the memory of the pathetic effort and loss at Indiana? How about beating the unbeaten and #1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, that would do it.

The first time around we did a couple things really well. We rebounded well and we shot well (everyone except Nolen who went 2/10). But we didn't take care of the ball and we didn't defend the three very well. But I get the feeling as though this game will be really different than the first time around.

Like last time around the numbers do not look for good for us. The Buckeyes play great defense, they shoot very well leading to very efficient scoring, they don't turn the ball over and they rebound well. This should be no shock to anyone as they are obviously undefeated and are on their way to a Big Ten title.
If you are looking for something to be optimistic about this is a first of three challenging road games in their next four for Ohio State. Up next is a trip to Madison so maybe they'll be looking ahead. And on our side we are coming off a loss in Indiana with a lackluster effort (to put it nicely). I'm sure there have been some intense practices and ass-chewings in the last few days.
Is that going to be enough to give OSU their first loss of the year? I'm not confident but who knows. Let's hope this is an entertaining game leading up to the Super Bowl.
