Great news for Gopher hoops as senior forward Trevor Mbakwe was selected to play in the World University Games for Team USA. The team will participate in the Games in China August 12-23. Mbakwe should get some big minutes, perhaps even as a starter, which will be valuable experience for him heading into his senior year. A senior year where Minnesota needs him to be dominant. This should only help boost his confidence and his level of play.
