The Gophers host the Tighers in what I was anticipating was going to be a very stiff challenge for the Gophers. BUt Tennessee State's 0-2 start has me thinking this is not going to be as close as I once thought.

As I have mentioned a few times, this was a very good team last year (for a mid-major) and they were the ones who handed Murray State their first loss of the season. And then they returned their top four leading scorers headlined by Robert Covington. The big man is a potential NBA Draftee and should give our interior a solid test (and vice versa).
This team, to date, has not been very good defensively and they give up a lot of offensive rebounds. I want to see the Gophers generate some more turnovers, convert them into points and maybe make a few more threes tonight.
