Andre Hollins is Big Ten Basketball Player of the Week

The sophomore guard did more than just drop 41 on Memphis. He led Minnesota in scoring at the Battle 4 Atlantis, averaging 20.3 points over three games, including two contests against nationally ranked opponents

• Scored a career-high 41 points to lead the Gophers to an 84-75 win over No. 19/17 Memphis, becoming the fourth Minnesota player to score 40 points in a game and the first since 1971
• Went 20-for-22 from the free-throw line in three games, sinking three with 0.4 seconds left on the clock to secure a win over Stanford
• Scored 12 points, dished out four assists and grabbed three rebounds against No. 5/5 Duke

Great weekend by Dre. We really needed a backcourt player to step up and be a threat outside of Mbakwe and Williams.
