The ACC/Big Ten Challenge gets started with what should be a very good game between the Gophers and the Seminoles. I made the trip to Tallahassee 5 years ago (to the day) when we faced FSU and lost at the Tucker Center.

This really should be a close game and a Gopher win would be huge. It is hard to get a road win against a quality opponent and this might be our only opportunity until the Big Ten season. Michael Snaer is really good, but Austin Hollins is a pretty good defender. That should be an awesome match-up. I'm sure FSU will be running screens and various plays to get Snaer some good looks at the basket so it will be up to more than just Austin to defend him.
The Seminole interior is pretty good sized with Turpin a big 7-0 and White 6-8 with Shannon coming off the bench with his 6-8, 240 frame. I mentioned in my Atlantis review that we kind of were vulnerable in the middle so I hope we shore that up today by being keeping guys away from the hoop and off the glass.
Who is going to step up today for the Gophers and lead us to this big road win?
