Young team with a nice sophomore nucleus but also probably the weakest team on the Gopher schedule. 7/9 are underclassmen and 6/9 are sophomores or freshmen. The only real interesting aspect about today's game is the Leopard's guard Seth Hinrichs. He is from Clara City, MN and played his high school ball at MACCRAY. I'm sure he will have a large contingent of friends and family at the game.
From an efficiency standpoint Lafayette is not a very good team on offense, defense or rebounding. And it shows in their KenPom ranking of 291st and RPI of 308. The Gophers have a 99% chance of winning this game and I fully expect that we will be 12-1 getting ready to face Michigan State on New Year's Eve.
