Three Gopher Questions
-
How will the offensive line react to an aggressive 3-4 defense? - Offensive line gets the big question of the day. Run blocking assignments are completely different and pass protection is more challenging with different blitzes than we are used to seeing. This is going to be a challenge for our young offensive line. Keeping Gray upright and opening holes for the running game are always important, and more challenging this week.
Will the pass defense be up the challenge? - Alex Carder threw for 364 yards and 5 touchdowns last week on 72.5% completion percentage.
Can Gray calmly lead this team in what will likely be a high scoring affair? - Gray is the leader on this team. Western Michigan is going to score and they might take a double-digit lead. Or we may be up and need to kill clock with methodical drives. Can Gray lead us to a win?
