This Season

10-1 (7-0). So kind of a good year. Which leads me to one question...

Sparty_medium

Seriously though, it's been a good season for MSU. Their offense hasn't always been great, but Conner Cook has improved as a QB and they aren't a dumpster fire on that side of the ball anymore. And their defense? Well, it's been called the perfect college defense, and the numbers it's putting out are certainly impressive. So yea, they're pretty good.

THE #TAKES

1) The offense we saw during the Wisconsin game? Yea, that needs to go away and not come back.

Can the Gophers beat MSU? Definitely. Will it happen if we get another offensive performance full of TO's and missed opportunities? No it will not. The Gophers needs to execute efficiently and limit mistakes. Period.

2) MOAR OF THAT DEFENSE WE SAW!

If the Gophers deliver another defensive performance like we saw on Saturday I honestly believe that they'll be in this game again. And once you're in the game all sorts of fun stuff can happen.

It's still gravy time folks. No, not because Thanksgiving. This has been a fun year and the fact is, the Gophers still have shot at taking the 3rd year Turn to another level by ruining Michigan State's at large BCS dreams. I for one am excited for the chance to watch the Gophers finish the year with a quality opponent and maybe, just maybe, improve their bowl stock.
