Minnesota Basketball: Austin Hollins Earns Big Ten Player of the Week Honors

After scoring his 1,000th point as a Golden Gopher and leading the Gophers to a couple wins last week, Austin Hollins earned his first career Big Ten Player of the Week award.

• Posted his third double-double of the season with a game-high 20 points and career-high 14 rebounds in the Golden Gophers' win over South Dakota State
• Eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau for his career
• Converted seven field goals against the Jackrabbits, corralled nine defensive boards and added three assists
• Earns his first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor
