A year ago the Gophers managed to get bowl eligible with a 6-6 overall record, 2-6 in the Big Ten. In the end they had four players who earned All-Big Ten. One was a 2nd teamer and three others managed to garner honorable mention. This year the Gophers are 8-4, 4-4 in conference and the Gopher player names were more prevalent in the Big Ten end of season awards.
Nine Gophers were honored as 1st team, 2nd team or honorable mention.

Congrats to the nine names listed above and it is kinda nice to see several Gophers recognized as some of the best in the Big Ten. The best news is that six of the nine listed are returning.
