In the last Big Ten game of the season the Gophers have several major questions yet to be answered. Can the Gophers get their first road win since beat Illinois in early January? Can the Gophers avoid a losing Big Ten record? Can Austin Hollins hit an outside jump-shop? Can Rodney Williams contribute offensively in any meaningful way?

I have a ton of respect for Purdue, particularly how well they play defense. They are very sound defensively and incredibly physical. Exactly the type of team we struggle against on the road. Considering how poorly we've played on the road all year (with the exception of @Illinois and a half @Indiana), this game does not look promising for the Golden Gophers. The only chance we have is if the Gophers come out with an attitude after being embarrassed at Nebraska. To win this game all of the starters need to return to some level of positive production and contribution. Austin Hollins will need to hit some jump-shots. Rodney Williams will need to force defenses to pay close attentin to him. Joe Coleman needs to be a threat with the ball and do what he does well. Those three have been invisible for a while now and if they want to come away from Purdue with a win, they need to contribute.
The regular season is coming to a close and it would be great to have some positive momentum heading into the Big Ten Tourney.
