It was on this date in 2008 The Daily Gopher was launched. After months of discussion between myself and PJS deciding to combing our blogging efforts and then being offered the chance to blog about the Gophers for SBN, it finally came together on the 12th of August.
The first year or more was challenging and it was a grind to build up the community to what it is today. But I am proud of this blog and I have come to love the community that has developed here. Great commenters and a great group of contributors/writers to work with. This has been a fun endeavor and I'm pretty proud of what it has become.
