I'm going to give you a dosage of Gopher links.
- First of all be sure to check out a couple worth links from TDG this week. Matt's Charts and Chalk and then be sure to read GoAUpher's Gnomes post.
- Donnell Kirkwood is making progress but is not expected to play against Western Illinois. And if we don't think we are going to need him, then save him another week so this injury is less nagging throughout the season.
- Joe Christensen has a great profile on Gopher's OLB, Deandre Campbell. When I was on the sidelines for the UNLV game there was this guy who trotted off the field and he looked like a physical freak. Tall, strong and just looked like the best athlete on the field. It was Campbell.
- Nate Sandell breaks down the New Mexico State win.
- Then Sandell talks about the Gopher offense being led by the quarterback's feet.
- Marcus looks at Derrick Wells coming back into his 2012 form.
- Amelia has some Gopher basketball recruiting updates (from 2 days ago).
- Lakeville North's JP Macura decided not to accept a Gopher offer and will instead take his talents to Xavier.
- Friday night ESPN2 will be broadcasting Cretin Derham Hall vs. Stillwater. Keep a sharp eye on Jashon Cornell, CDH's defensive end who is arguably the best high school junior in the country (you read that right).
