The Golden Gophers are hosting Western Illinois and the 7-6 halftime lead is not the lead story. Head Coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure on the field just as the team was heading off the field for half-time. This is the third gameday seizure suffered by the Minnesota coach in this 3-year career. It first happened late in the game vs. New Mexico State in 2011 and again vs. Michigan State 2012 this time in the post-game locker room.
Twitter was abuzz with this development prompting tweets from former players, media and fans wishing him well.
MarQueis Gray expressed his concern and told us of Kill's toughness,
No matter how bad coach seizures are he always manages to be back work the next day or day after!! Now that's a #ToughSOB LUV YA coach
